John 1:1-4

Verses 1:1-4 of John say "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made, without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.

Some of the repeated words in this passage is Word; which means Jesus was with God in the beginning, he was the Word, and he is God.

Beginning is also another word repeated here. The statement "In the beginning was the Word" means that Jesus (God) was there before anything else was.

The actions and verbs in the verses are in Him all things were made; which is saying that God created everything on the earth. Also another verse; "in Him was life and that Life was the light of men." I think that this means that before the Fall of man, that man did not have the sin we have today in the world, but that Adam and Eve before the Fall were perfect in every way and they even could see God because he came to the earth at the time of the Fall. He was the one who was looking for them Genesis 3:8-9.

The passage of John 1:1-4 says that Jesus was God, is God, and will always be God. He also says that "In Him was life and that life was the light of men. This means that God first created man to be perfect but unfortunately, man sinned against God and that started a chain reaction of more sin and death throught the world until Christ comes His second time; being with us and having His Millinia Kingdom set up. But before that, Jesus came to earth so that we may belive in the Death and Reasurrection of Jesus Christ; and now we can be saved through Him and we can shine His light through by are actions and showing our faith to others.

This passage says that man has been made by God and "In Him was life, and that life was the light of men" this means that God has a special place for us in life, and He also says in one of the Gospels "How much are we than the birds!" This definitely is a description of God's special plan for humans in life.

This passage is history because it teaches us that God has always been around even before the creation of the universe.

God is telling me that he wants His light shown through us by actions and by faith so that we can teach other people about Christ's love, hope, and kindness for us.

I am encouaraged by this because it shows that God already had a plan for me and that He has plans for other people.
